招聘岗位：全职博士后1名 (full-time postdoc position)

Job Description:

1. Conduct machine learning and big data analytics related research with applications in economics and finance. Duties include but are not limited to:

• Design simulation studies.

• Write computer codes to implement algorithms and improve computational efficiency.

• Implement newly designed algorithms to economic and financial empirical exercises.

2. Starting salary: $5000/month with 1-month performance bonus and 3% annual increment.

3. Duration: 3-year contract, sponsoring the employment pass application in Singapore, starting in early 2022.

Requirements:

1. PhD in economics, finance, statistics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.

2. Fluent in English (reading, writing, andspeaking).

3. Expertise with Python, R, SAS or similar statistical analysis tools.

余俊教授简介：

余俊教授是新加坡管理大学经济学和金融学讲座教授，曾是中国教育部长江学者讲座教授。他的主要研究领域是金融计量学，是国际金融计量学领域的权威。他于2012年选为被国际金融计量学会（Society of Financial Econometrics）创会院士。他目前担任计量经济学和金融计量学领域里的三个学术期刊 -- 计量经济学（Journal of Econometrics）、计量经济学理论 （Econometric Theory）、金融计量学（Journal of Financial Econometrics） -- 的副主编。他曾担任校级沈基文金融经济研究院（Sim Kee Boon Institute for Financial Economics） 院长和研究院下属金融计量研究中心（Center for Financial Econometrics）主任。

余俊教授的研究获得多个奖项以及国家级科研基金, 其中2000年新西兰皇家科学院的Marsden Fund、2006年、2012年、2014年、2018年、2020年、2021年新加坡教育部的重点资助（Tier-2 AcRF Fund 或者Tier-3 AcRF Fund）。2014年以项目总负责人（Lead Principal Investigator）的身份申请并开始主持新加坡国家重点课题（Tier-3 AcRF Project）-- 人口老龄化的经济学挑战。这是新加坡政府历史上对社会科学项目的最大资助（总资助超过5千万人民币）。该项目已于2020年成功结题。

自从1999年以来, 余俊教授已经在国际学术期刊上发表八十多篇学术论文, 许多论文刊登在国际顶尖学术期刊上。到2021年11月份，他的谷歌总引用率是7900次，Hindex 是36。

近年来余俊教授致力于研究金融泡沫和金融危机的计量问题。他提出的资产泡沫的检验方法、 以及估计泡沫产生的时间和危机发生的时间, 对许多国家（包括美国）的宏观经济金融政策有重大的影响。
